【Guideline for Submission of Contributions to the Korea Association of Japanology Journal,
『The Korean Journal of Japanology』】

1. Eligibility:
1) Members who completed the oral presentation at a Korea Association of Japanology conference or a conference of an academic society under the Korea Association of Japanology.
2) Contribution without Oral Presentation: The person who provided the annual membership fee for recent 3 years is entitled to the chance to make a contribution without oral presentation in a year (The same applies to the person who provided the annual membership fee for 3 years at once.)
2. Contents: All theses related with Japan
(Original thesis containing the outcomes of researches on contents related with Japan including Japanese language studies, Japanese literature, Japanology (Japanese history, ideology, economy, culture, etc.) not published in other academic journals inside and outside Korea)

3. Guideline for Thesis Preparation: Refer to the association's homepage (http://www.kaja.or.kr/) and the its journal
(Use Hangul 97 or higher, foreign contributors can use MS-Word 2007)

5. Thesis Screening
- The editorial committee determines the publication of the thesis based on the result of screening by 3 experts in the corresponding fields and notifies the contributor of the result by mail.
6. Screening Fee and Publication Fee

- Screening Fee: KRW 60,000
- Publication Fee: KRW 100,000 (General Thesis)
KRW 200,000 (Thesis with Financial Support)
- Reprint Fee: KRW 30,000 (20 reprinted copies are given)
- Fees for Extra Pages: If the thesis is longer than 18 pages, an extra fee of KRW 5,000 per page will be applied to extra pages.
- Screening fee shall be provided with the submission of thesis.
Publication fee (including fees for reprinting and extra pages) shall be provided when the completed thesis is submitted.
- Indicate the name and the fee as follows when providing the screening fee and publication fee
